Create your tree
Start with yourself, then add parents, partners and children. Record birthplaces, dates, life events and stories.
Invite the relatives you trust to add names, photos and stories. You approve every change before it appears in the tree.
Add Anna Weber as Stefan’s daughter. “From the 1994 family album.”
How it works
You decide what goes into the tree. Your relatives add the names, dates and photos they remember.
Start with yourself, then add parents, partners and children. Record birthplaces, dates, life events and stories.
Send an email invitation, a private link or a short code. Choose who can view, who can contribute and who can approve.
Suggestions arrive in an approval queue. Approve, reject or ask for more detail. Every decision is recorded.
Contributors never write straight to your tree. New people, edits, photos and notes all wait for you or a trusted tree admin.
No public pages, no search-engine indexing. Living relatives can be hidden from viewers.
Choose what each relative can do.
Stored privately and re-encoded to strip hidden location data. Only members can open them.
Zoom, pan and tap anyone to see their details. It works on a phone too, even for large families.
Security
Family records include names, birthdays and places of people who never chose to be online, so the site is locked down by default.
